Against Me!
Against Me! is a punk band originally from Naples, Florida, and later relocated to Gainesville, Florida. They are known for their distinct, heavily folk-influenced sound and energetic live shows (Spin named them one of the 25 greatest live bands in 2006). Their first full-length album, released on No Idea Records in 2002, was the highly-acclaimed Reinventing Axl Rose. In December 2005, they signed to Sire Records, and released their major label debut, New Wave, on July 10, 2007.

Amos The Transparent.
Amos the Transparent is the brainchild of Ottawa songwriter Jonathan Chandler – a soft-spoken talent with a faultless ear. Along with drummer and primary collaborator Christopher Wilson, the duo refined material that was written over a period of several years.
One of Amos the Transparents most defining characteristics is their authentic delivery and ability to capture a mood. Lyrical themes of love and loss, hope and despair channel the spirit of Elliott Smith while the songwriting evokes the minimalist charm of Wilco.

At the Drive-In was a post-hardcore band from El Paso, Texas that formed in 1993 and disbanded in 2001. Influenced primarily by the likes of Fugazi and Drive Like Jehu as well as their native Texas hardcore scene, At the Drive-In crafted epic, musically complex songs, each one laced with cryptic and strongly metaphorical lyrics. Founded in 1993 by guitarist Jim Ward and vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala, who were at the time members of a punk band called the El Paso Pussycats where Jim sang and Cedric played drums but left to pursue music more seriously with some friends.

Belle & Sebastian is a band from Glasgow. Led by guitarist/vocalist Stuart Murdoch, the seven-piece band has an intimate, majestic sound that is equal parts folk-rock and 60s pop. Murdoch has a gift for not only whimsy and surrealism, but also for odd, unsettling lyrical detail which keeps the songs grounded in a tangible reality.
Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Belle & Sebastian released their first two albums in 1996 Tigermilk recorded over three days and If You Are Feeling Sinister recorded in a week, at the peak of the chamber pop movement.

Blink 182 is a pop punk band from Poway, California formed in 1992 by Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Scott Raynor. In 1998 Raynor was replaced by Travis Barker, and in early 2005 DeLonge left the group, initiating an indefinite hiatus. DeLonge went on to form Angels & Airwaves, while Hoppus and Barker formed +44. On February 8, 2009, blink-182 announced that they had reunited.

Cobra Skulls are a punk rock band from Reno, Nevada who are signed to Red Scare Industries.
Cobra Skulls were formed in 2005 by Devin Peralta (bass, vocals), Charlie Parker (guitar) and Chad Cleaveland (drums). They released an EP titled Draw Muhammad in 2006. The EP caught the attention of Red Scare Industries who signed the band and released their debut album Sitting Army in 2007. They are planning to record a 7 vinyl that will be released some time in 2008.
To promote the album the band went on tour with Against Me!, Mad Caddies, and The Loved Ones, opening shows for them.[1] During the 2007 tour the band added a second guitarist Adam Beck

Electric President is the second of Ben Coopers projects, this time with Alex Kane. The sound is a mix with folk, pop, electronic, with a sound that would be very much like if you threw The Postal Service, The Decemberists, The Flaming Lips, and George Orwell in a large blender.
The songs are characterized by nasalized voices, acoustic riffs, MD-four tracks, SM58, and some computers.

Less Than Jake is a ska-punk band formed in 1992 in Gainesville, Florida. They were recently released from their contract with Warner Brothers. Their current line-up includes Chris (vocals, guitar), Roger (bass, vocals, guitar at certain live shows), Vinnie (drums, lyricist), Buddy (trombone, bass at certain live shows) and JR (saxophone). The bands name derives from a dog Vinnie had while growing up, which was treated better than the rest of the family. Its also a reference to the phrase everything is jake, which is an old phrase meaning everything is cool.

The Mountain Goats is the musical project of singer-songwriter and guitarist John Darnielle. The New Yorker magazine referred to him as Americas best non-hip-hop lyricist. In its June 2006 issue, Paste magazine named Darnielle one of the 100 Best Living Songwriters. Darnielles lyrics are literate and filled with imagery that reference classic literature, religion and mythologies, pop culture, art and history. Others are vague references to his stepfather, and with the 2005 album The Sunset Tree Darnielle finally offers a more intimate account of his experience as an abused child.

Neutral Milk Hotel centered on chief lyricist and songwriter, Jeff Mangum, who on the bands two full-length albums, played with a number of other musicians, notably Jeremy Barnes (drums), Scott Spillane (horns), Julian Koster (saw/banjo/accordion/bass guitar) and producer-instrumentalist Robert Schneider. Neutral Milk Hotel were one of the original members of the Elephant Six Collective, based in Athens, Georgia. They have been on an indefinite hiatus since 1998.

Propagandhi is a punk band formed in Portage La Praire, Manitoba, Canada in 1986 by Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky. While their earlier work draws from the punk and skate punk tradition, recent Propagandhi records have moved towards a heavier, hardcore thrash-influenced sound.
The band members are known for championing various political causes. They have taken an active stance against human rights violations, racism, homophobia, imperialism, fascism, capitalism and organized religion. The band supports vegan lifestyles, animal rights campaigns and feminism, and have described themselves as Gay Positive.

Radical Face.
Radical Face is the solo project of Ben Cooper (mainly of Electric President fame). Cooper is the sole member of the band, although he has enlisted the help of fellow Electric President Alex Kane and Coopers brother Emeral. The album Ghost was originally scheduled to be released in late 2006, but was delayed to be remastered by the label (Morr Music), and it was subsequently released in March 2007. It features acoustic guitar, found-sound percussion, and many multi-layered tracks. The sound is incredibly unique, not only because of Coopers originality and raw talent, but also because most of the music has traditionally been recorded in the shed in his backyard

Rise Against.
Rise Against is a punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Formed in 1999, and originally performing under the name Transistor Revolt, they released a self-produced demo entitled Transistor Revolt in 2000, a year before signing with Fat Wreck Chords to release their first two albums, The Unraveling in 2001, and Revolutions Per Minute in 2003. They later switched to Dreamworks Records and recorded their album Siren Song of the Counter Culture. However, Dreamworks Records got taken over by the Universal Music Group and Rise Against finally found themselves on Geffen Records, a Universal Music Group subsidiary, releasing Siren Song of the Counter Culture in August 2004.

et Your Goals are a San Francisco, California based pop punk band with hardcore influences and dueling vocalists formed in 2004. The band name comes from melodic hardcore band CIVs first album, Set Your Goals. Set Your Goals released their first EP, Set Your Goals, on Straight On Records in May 2004. After signing with Eulogy Recordings, they re-released the EP under the name Reset on April 11, 2006 with vinyl released by Panic Records. Tom Gabel.
Tom Gabel (born November 8, 1980) is the lead singer and guitarist of Gainesville, Florida punk band Against Me!, as well as a solo artist. He was born on an Army base in Georgia and traveled around the world, following his fathers military assignments. He started Against Me! at age 17 after dropping out of high school.
On October 28, 2008, Gabel released his solo debut, a 7-song EP entitled Heart Burns.

Wolf Parade is an indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, now based in Montreal,QC. Wolf Parade was formed when Spencer Krug (also Sunset Rubdown, Frog Eyes and Swan Lake) was offered a gig supporting Arcade Fire. He called Dan Boeckner (formerly of notable B.C. band Atlas Strategic, now also part of Handsome Furs) and they wrote songs with a drum machine before calling Arlen Thompson to play drums.
